Women’s opening game ends in defeat

Bath City Women’s opening league game ended in a 4-0 defeat against reigning Somerset County WFL Division Pen Mill Ladies. The Yeovil-based side struck four times in the opening 36 minutes, benefitting from a number of defensive lapses by the Romans.  Despite a much improved performance after the break City found home keeper Chard in excellent form.
