Weather can’t dampen spirits at Open Day
Despite having to dodge several heavy showers City held a very successful open day at Twerton Park yesterday. The club lived up to its new community set-up by throwing open its doors to the people of Bath (and further afield) with a chance to meet the players, enjoy a tour of the ground, buy merchandise, quiz board members and find out about how they can get involved. The afternoon also saw manager Gary Owers host a training session with his full squad in attendance, where he was mic-ed up so everyone there could hear his instructions over the tannoy. The club would like to thank all the coaching staff and players for giving up their Sunday plus everyone who attended the event, and we hope to see you again when the football action begins, starting with the much anticipated local derby against Chippenham Town on Tuesday 8 August (ko 7.45pm).
