Bath City U18’s academy season in the South West Counties Youth League came to a conclusion last night as they won 3-2 at Bridgwater Town. The win enabled the lads to retain second place above Bridgwater and runners up to champions Mangotsfield United.

The 2020/21 season commenced and was curtailed in October 2020, we played one game in December, and the League was restarted on 10 April 2021 to be played to a conclusion.

Thanks must go to the clubs, their coaches and administrators as well as League officials in ensuring the season was completed in safety and with the players having the opportunity to play when so much of life has been put on hold.

It is excellent news that Leo Eglin is the latest player from our academy to be selected for the English Colleges FA National team squad. Leo has been an integral part of the academy over the last two years and in the season just ended was top scorer for City with 13 goals.
