Statement on spectator attendance for upcoming fixtures at Twerton Park

We regret to say that our home match against Hungerford Town on Monday 28th December will be played behind closed doors.

We are working hard to satisfy the Council’s Safety Advisory Group requirements, having completed a number of tasks and inspections in the past two weeks. But, with Christmas closures, we will not be able to make sufficient further progress ahead of the match to be allowed the return of fans.

This also means, given only three further working days next week, there is a strong possibility that our match against Chippenham on 2nd January will be behind closed doors.

We are really sorry that we cannot welcome you back to the ground to support the team just yet. Everyone at the Club from the Board and volunteers to Jerry and the team desperately wants to have our fans back in the stadium and we will continue to progress everything as fast as possible to make that happen.
