Match Report by Mark Stillman.

Bath City Women claimed a second 5-0 success in a row after dismantling St Vallier.

In wet and windy conditions in Lockleaze, City shone with Adella Clarke (2), Koz Thorner-Atkinson (2) and Jasmine Harris on target.

Sadie Farley was rarely tested as she claimed a third successive clean sheets – a club record.

For the fifth game running, City took the lead inside 10 minutes.

Bex Fry drove forward from the back and perfectly slipped the ball through to Clark, who deftly touched it around advancing goalkeeper Katelyn Darbon.

The lead was doubled on 20 minutes. Tara Taylor’s cross from the right held up in the wind but Thorner-Atkinson judged it perfectly, superbly volleying home low from 18 yards.

Fry importantly blocked Sophie Woodward’s goalbound effort after City switched off from a short throw in St Vallier’s only real threat in the first half.

A third arrived just after the break. Maddy Brown’s cross from the left provoked indecision between Darbon and her defence, allowing Clarke to capitalise and stab home her sixth goal in three games.

Darbon denied Libby Goater before the goalkeeper made way for Monicia Brady, who was grateful to see Clark steer wide and Chelsea Pearce’s long ranger thud back off the crossbar.

She was powerless to prevent a fourth. Mils Bellotti’s corner was missed by Clark but met by Harris, who poked in her first for the club.

A sublime finish from Thorner-Atkinson just before full-time rounded a fine afternoon off. The attacking midfielder curved into the top corner with the outside of her foot from 25 yards to wrap up proceedings.
