Player News – Joe Wright

The signing that has been eagerly awaited is complete with 21 year old goalkeeper, Joe Wright, joining us on a season long loan from Championship side Millwall.

Joe who has featured as third choice keeper for Millwall’s first team was on loan at Isthmian Premier Division side Cray Wanderers last season and joins us in the next stage of his player development. He comes to us recommended by our former goalkeeper coach, Dom Colman, who is goal keeper coach in Millwall’s academy. We would like to thank Dom and academy manager, Kevin Nugent, for their assistance in making this move possible.

Joe trained with the first team on Monday evening and we look forward to welcoming him to Twerton Park for the match against Colchester United tonight, 7pm kick off.
