Next Match – Yate Town (A)
For the third time this pre-season, the Romans are facing Southern League Division One opposition. The previous two fixtures were against Frome Town and Westbury United, which ended in a win and draw, respectively.
The Bluebells should provide an interesting challenge after coming off a 7-2 win against Longwell Green. However, Bath can boast their own decent string of results this pre-season, despite focusing mostly on fitness.
Some of you may remember the last time we played Yate in a friendly, almost exactly a year ago. Goals from Luke Spokes and Cody Cooke gave us a comfortable 2-0 triumph. Let’s trust in the boys that they can deliver a similar result this weekend.
