Next Match – Frome Town (A)

City make their second pre-season outing tomorrow afternoon when they head to Badgers Hill to face Southern League Division 1 South side Frome Town (ko 3pm).

After the goalless draw against Shaftesbury FC in dreadful weather conditions on Tuesday evening, City will hope for a brighter afternoon (the forecast looks reasonably promising) and to open their goalscoring account. The last time the sides met in a pre-season friendly in early July 2021 saw a Cody Cooke hat-trick fire the Romans to a 4-1 win.

This will be the Robins first summer outing and they are likely to parade their two summer arrivals so far, striker Ben Griffith, signed from Weston Super Mare, and central defender Matt Wood who made the permanent move from Shepton Mallet after impressing in a couple of loan appearances last term.

Tickets can be purchased here until the morning of the game, but entry at the gate will be possible on the day. The Clubhouse is open from 12:00pm.

City will also be wearing their new yellow and blue away kit.
