Next Match – Exeter City (H)
Pre-season marches on at Twerton Park this Saturday as we take on fellow community-owned club Exeter City.
The boys will be looking to build consistency before we get underway in the National League South, having already experienced a goalless draw, a 2-0 victory, and a 2-1 defeat. Manager Jerry Gill will be looking for the Romans to bounce back in this second home game in a row.
Exeter should prove tough opponents, currently residing three divisions higher than City in League One and it will be another chance for the Romans to build on their team understanding and fitness, as well as your chance to check out our new signings.
Dan Hayfield scored an impressive free-kick last time out. Let’s hope he can replicate his goalscoring prowess against the Grecians, where he spent his academy days. Jordan Dyer will also be reacquainting himself with some former teammates.
