Captain Gallinagh back on board with Allen still in the crew (30/6/14)
City are pleased to announce two further signings, with captain Andy Gallinagh and Chris Allen committing themselves to the club for the 2014-15 season. Former Cheltenham Town and Hereford United defender Gallinagh was ever present in the league last season and is approaching 100 appearances for the Romans. The new campaign will mark Allen’s third with City, where he has netted eleven goals in 78 games from midfield.

Stearn signs for 2014-15 and Artus makes Hereford switch (23/6/14)
City are pleased to annouce that Ross Stearn has become the latest player to put pen to paper on a contract for the 2014-15 season. And he will be joined by midfielder Frankie Artus after he moved to the club from Hereford United. The Bristol-born 25 year old made 35 appearances for the Bulls last season and has also played for Grimsby Town and Cheltenham Town, having begun his career as a trainee with Bristol City.
City’s Supporters’ Club are holding a quiz night at Twerton Park on Saturday 28 June in Charlie’s starting at 7.30pm. Teams of up to five can enter and the cost is £2 per player. Some great prizes are up for grabs and there will be a raffle. World Cup games will also be shown on the night and the bar will be open too!
Adelsbury and Simpson sign on but Low hangs up boots (15/6/14)
The Club is pleased to announce that Ben Adelsbury and Sekani Simpson have agreed terms for the new season. 23-year old Adelsbury joined City from Eastbourne Borough last summer whilst the 2014-15 season will be Simmo’s ninth with the Romans, having passed the 300-game mark during the previous campaign. They will join the other players when pre-season training begins next week with the first friendly on 10 July at Larkhall Athletic.
One player who will not be joining them is Josh Low. The experienced midfielder has decided to retire and concentrate on his professional career outside the game. The Club would like to thank Josh for his time at the Club and wish him all the best for the future.
City have confirmed the admission prices for their three home pre-season matches. Swansea City XI: Adults £7, Over 65s/Under 18s/Students £4, U16s £1. Bristol Rovers and Cheltenham Town: Adults £10, Over 65s/Under 18s/Students £5, U16s £1.
Season Ticket sales strong as 2014-15 Conference South line-up set (almost) (15/6/14)
City have confirmed that their finances have been given a boost by strong Early Bird sales for 2014-15 season tickets, with takings up £4500 on 2013-14. Chairman Paul Williams said, “The early bird has been very successful.We have managed to retain a lot of the season ticket holders we had last year and more of them have taken advantage of the offer this time.” Supporters can still purchase a season ticket using the link on the front page of the website.
The club has also revealed strong interest in their 2014-15 shirt sponsor draw. They have received 35 entries so far and local companies still have the chance to sign up before the June 30 deadline. Tickets are priced £250 plus VAT, with the winners replacing accounting firm Moore Stephens as home and away shirt sponsors for the 125th anniversary season, and can be purchased by contacting Bob Chester on 07786 092836 or Carolyn Briscoe on 07971 146504.
Striker Scott Wilson, who spent the closing months of the 2013-14 season at Twerton Park, looks set to join former side Gloucester City or Weston-super-Mare.
Following last weekend’s AGM the Football Conference have confirmed the 2014-15 Conference South line-up. The demotion of Hereford United to the Southern League saw Hayes & Yeading United reprieved from relegation and Lowestoft allocated a place in the Conference North. Salisbury City have been placed in the Conference South after failing to meet the requirement to settle all football creditors in cleared funds and provide a £50,000 bond by June 12. The Whites have now been given until July 4 to fulfil these demands and will be expelled from the league if they fail to do so. In this event the Conference South will run with 21 clubs for the 2014-15 campaign. The line-up is:

City named as Conference South Community Club of the Year (8/6/14)
At Saturday’s Football Conference AGM and Awards ceremony – held at Celtic Manor in Newport – Bath City won the award and £10,000 prize for Conference South Community Club of the year. The Club would like to thank the Bath City FC Community Sports Foundation for all their sterling work in the community which has received special recognition from the Conference.

Case for the defence as Mellor and Ball sign new deals (3/6/14)
City are pleased to announce that both goalkeeper Jason Mellor and defender Dan Ball have committed themselves to the Club and completed the necessary paperwork for the forthcoming season. These young players have become regular members of the first team squad in the last two years and are looking forward to the start of the new season. They join Dave Pratt and Dan Bowman as contracted players for the 2014-15 season, along with new signings Ashley Kington, Martin Slocombe and Chas Hemmings.
