Jerry Gill contract extension

We are delighted to announce that agreement has been reached on an extension to Jerry Gill’s contract as the men’s first team manager.

Despite challenging circumstances on the field in the mid-part of this season, which saw the whole club and football community unite together, along with being in a tough economic environment for everyone, we look to finish the 2023 campaign strongly, maintain this into next season and hopefully retain the excellent squad Jerry has recruited.

Chair Nick Blofeld welcomed Jerry’s commitment to another season, “As we work towards the next phase as a club, with the planned delivery of a 3G pitch in the closed season of summer 2024, we’re really pleased that Jerry has agreed to stay and start work straight away building another strong squad towards a successful new season. We took quite a jolt back in November, but for the rest of the time it’s clear that our squad has been really competitive and we hope to keep building on that – while of course still striving for the play-offs this season.”

Jerry added, “I’m naturally delighted to have come to an agreement with the board on my contract extension. My energy and enthusiasm for Bath City Football Club has never wavered and whilst we all know next season will bring new challenges, I am hopeful we can keep the majority of this squad together for a second season. I would like to thank the board, my backroom staff, the players, all the volunteers and of course you the fans for all the continued support you have given me.”
