It’s Matchday no.13 – Braintree Town Away

Having gone through September unbeaten we begin our October fixtures this afternoon with the long trip to Essex to face Braintree Town at Cressing Road – a game that marks the sixth anniversary of Jerry Gill’s first match in charge of the Romans. Whilst in FA Cup action last weekend we were deposed from the top of the National League South table by our Somerset neighbours Taunton Town, so a win against the Iron and a return to the summit would be a perfect celebration of this notable date.
