Hope for return of fans

The Bath City FC Board welcomes this week’s announcement about the intention to allow fans back into stadia for live sport. The Vanarama National League has advised us that they are in discussions with The Department for Culture Media and Sport as well as the FA about the practicalities, and we have also been in contact with BANES Council about the expected return.

At the moment our earliest possible home match is Tuesday 15th December when we begin our FA Trophy campaign, but of course subject to the draw. Due to the vagaries of the fixture calendar, our next home league match isn’t until Monday 28th December against Hungerford Town – the last team we played in front of fans back in March, at Bulpit Lane.

As soon as we have firm news about who can attend and all the practical measures, including with regard to away matches, we will let you know.
