Former Academy player Ben battles cancer AND raises funds for new foundation

Ben Saunders, a promising Bath City FC academy player and football lover has set up a foundation (The Ben Saunders Foundation (BSF)) to raise funds to support Children and Young adults with cancer within the UK. Ben was moved to set up his foundation after receiving help from various charities, following being diagnosed with a rare form of cancer which he has been fighting since October 2019.

Ben is almost at his target of £15,000 and Bath City FC are keen to raise awareness of the work this young man is doing to help others facing the physical and emotional effects of cancer. We will also be donating items for him to raffle.

For those wanting to give support, a sponsored headshave for the Ben Saunders Foundation is happening this Saturday (22nd August) at Jimmers Barber Shop on Twerton High Street.
