FA Cup debut ends in Tigers defeat

City’s first appearance in the Women’s FA Cup ended in disappointment this afternoon with a 2-0 defeat against Gloucester City Women at TigerTurf stadium. Lloyd opened the scoring for the home side in the first half following a goalmouth scramble before Morgan-King secured the victory, converting a Todd cross midway five minutes from time.
