Cooke and Lines fire City to Frome win

Goals from Cody Cooke and Chris Lines saw City run out comfortable 2-0 winners against Frome Town at Badger Hill this afternoon in their second pre-season outing. Jordan Thomas had seen an effort crash against the post before Cooke looped a header home from a Joe Raynes cross right on the stroke of half-time. City continued to control the game after the interval, with keeper Ollie Wright largely a spectator, and on 65 minutes Elliott Frear pulled the ball back for Lines to fire home from 18 yards via the underside of the bar.
