City v Concord Rangers – FA Trophy Replay – Matchday Information
The Romans will be looking to book a place in the last 16 of the FA Trophy when they take on Concord Rangers under the lights at Twerton Park. Kick off – 7:45pm!
City extended their unbeaten run to 11 thanks to Tom Smith’s quickfire equaliser and an early Ryan Clarke penalty save in a 1-1 draw at Concord Rangers on Saturday, meaning the two sides will meet again this Tuesday evening for a replay.
City hit the woodwork twice through Tom Smith and Sam Pearson, but also had to be at their best defensively right to the end against a highly competitive Rangers.
Thank you to the large number of City fans who made the trip to Canvey Island to get behind the team and to the individuals who made donations to reduce fares as low as £10. Both the fans and the players showed how much the match meant to our Club.
The Romans will be in the hat on Monday for the third round draw so we’ll know the likely prize both teams will be playing for on Tuesday night.
