City U18s overcome Poole Town in Gary Else League Cup Final

Bath City’s U18 side crowned a great 2017/18 season by lifting the Gary Else Memorial League Cup with a 3-1 win over Poole Town U18s at Frome Town this afternoon. They took just 6 minutes to open the scoring, Rex Mannings converting James Ollis’ low cross. They continued to dominate the first half but couldn’t add to their lead and 12 minutes after the interval Poole levelled with a close range finish. However, within a minute a great run and strike from Luke Curtis restored their lead then on 78 minutes Louis Britton shot home to make it 3-1 to ensure the trophy would be heading to the Romans.
