City remain in 2nd place despite lead slip

Bath City Women remain in poll position for the runners-up spot in the Somerset County WFL Division 1 despite allowing a two-goal half-time lead to slip in a 2-2 draw against Ilminster Town Ladies Reserves this afternoon. Amy Key netted twice in the first half before the home side pulled a goal back early in the second half. And with twelve minutes left a handball on the line by Summer-Lily Robinson – which saw her receive a red card – allowed Cornwall to score her second goal from the penalty spot.
