City on the double to down Ridgway Ladies
Two goals apiece from Any Key and Mollie Harvey saw City beat Ridgeway Ladies 4-1 this afternoon at Twerton Park. Key turned in the opening goal on seven minutes from a perfect Ruby Black cross. Four minutes later the visitors keeper Collins appeared to misjudge an Emily Dellow cross giving Key another tap-in. She redeemed herself with two excellent saves from Tara Taylor and Key before the interval. Ridgeway pulled a goal back five minutes after the restart through Dixon’s neat finish but City continued to control the game. On 68 minutes Tanea Wright’s corner was headed in by Harvey then nine minutes from time the same combination saw the latter’s shot find the net to complete the scoring.
