Part two of the A4 Derby takes place at Hardenhuish Park on New Years Day! The Romans take on local rivals Chippenham Town in a Vanarama National League South clash. Kick off – 3pm!
In part one, Twerton Park witnessed a scintillating Boxing Day clash which saw Jerry Gill’s men come from behind to snatch all three points against Chippenham Town. With City looking to further secure their position in the play-offs and Chippenham hoping to drag themselves away from a relegation battle, it’s now all eyes on the New Year’s Day fixture at Hardenhuish Park. Can the Romans claim a festive double over their close rivals or will Chippenham pocket the points on home soil?

Train 🚉: Great Western Railway trains to Chippenham will be running every hour (43 minutes past the hour) from Bath Spa and 11/12 minutes past the hour on the journey back to Bath. Trains take around 10 minutes and it is then just a 10-15 minute walk to Hardenhuish Park from the station.
Adult return £6:10/Child return £3:05 or if you go in a group of 3-9 you can receive a group-saver discount, in which case it will be a £4:05 return. This amount of discount also applies to those with a railcard.
Car 🚘: The address for the ground is: Hardenhuish Park, Bristol Road, Chippenham, Wiltshire, SN14 6LR and takes around 30-40 minutes from Bath. We are currently in talks with Chippenham in regards to the parking situation at the ground.
