Bath City Women to play in Women’s FA Cup

The FA have announced the list of 456 clubs which have been accepted into the 2023/24 Women’s FA Cup and Bath City Women have made the cut.

First Round Qualifying will take place on 10th September and Matt Abreu’s side will learn their opponents next Friday August 4th.

Speaking after hearing the news, Matt said “We weren’t even formed by the deadline for applications for last season’s Women’s FA Cup and were disappointed not to be able to play in it. We were therefore determined to make sure we were entered this season and we’re delighted that we’ve been accepted. We can’t wait to find out who we’ll face, and to experience the magic of the cup’.
