Bath City Women make Junior Cup exit
City exited the Women’s Junior Cup this afternoon in a 3-1 defeat against Paulton Rovers Ladies at Winterfield Road. The home side – who play two divisions higher than City – struck first on 6 minutes when Laver converted from a corner. However, keeper Sophie Campbell produced a number of good saves to keep City in the game and just before the hour mark Summer-Lily Robinson scrambled home a corner to level the scores. Within ten minutes though Paulton regained the lead, Gwyther netting via the underside of the bar, and with four minutes left Stocker ensured it was Paulton who would progress to the next round.
