A big thank you from Jerry and the Board
Jerry Gill and John Reynolds put the call out for The Roman Army to turn out in numbers for the visit of league leaders Wealdstone last weekend – and you responded in style. The crowd of 1,203 was some 34% up on last season’s crowd of 901 for The Stones’ visit in November, while it was up a massive 120% compared with the equivalent weekend’s fixture, when a crowd of 546 witnessed the visit of Concord Rangers on 8th December 2018.
Jerry expressed his thanks for the bigturnout:
“A message from myself, staff and players to all the fans that turned out for the Wealdstone game. Your voice and support in a wonderful gate of over 1200 made such a huge impact in what was a very high level Vanarama National League South top of the table clash on and off the pitch. Thank you. We as a club continue to set the bar high with our high standards all round. Let’s keep the momentum going through the busy Xmas schedule and new year.”
John Reynolds and the rest of the Board echo Jerry’s thanks – your support is always very much appreciated.
