City v Lewes FC – FA Cup 3rd Qualifying Round

The Romans’ ‘Road to Wembley’ continues this Saturday, when we take on Lewes Football Club in the Third Round Qualifying of The Emirates FA Cup.

Lewes, a fellow community-owned club, were promoted from the Bostik League South last season and currently sit in 11th place in the Bostik Premier Division. The Sussex side had been on a strong run of form, having lost only once this season with a 1-0 defeat at home to Carshalton Athletic on August 11th, but slipped up in midweek going down 4-3 at home to Worthing.

Our record against Lewes is Won 1, Drawn 2, Lost 1, so we’ll be hoping to upset the symmetry our way this Saturday.
