City suffer narrow FA Youth Cup exit
Last night the U18’s bowed out of the FA Youth Cup at the 2nd Qualifying Round stage after a 2-1 defeat at Street.
A strong Street side raced into an early 2 nil lead and it looked like it could be a long night. The lads gradually worked their way back into a very entertaining open game, but were unable to get on the score sheet until early in injury time when SJ Mwuara netted for City.
This led to a frenetic finish to the game but we were unable to grab the equaliser that would have taken to tie to penalties.
