Twerton Park on the map for Fundraiser

This month will see runners Alex, Ben, Jon, Nathan, Sam and Tom take on a personal marathon challenge to raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK.

Their goal is to run 10k in every English city, all 55 of them!

Starting in Truro, the runners will make their way up to Newcastle before finishing in the fine city of Norwich.

Each run will start and end at a football ground in the city with Twerton Park firmly on the map. We are expecting to see the runners arrive at around 11am on Sunday, September 15th, with a lap of celebratory honour around our hallowed turf.

“The Club is delighted to support this fantastic challenge and really happy to see Twerton Park on the map with so many other football clubs. We wish the runners all the best and know they will raise awareness of Prostate Cancer and much needed funds along the way, making a real difference in the lives of those affected by this disease”, Caroline White, Marketing Director, Bath City Football Club.

If you would like to come and support the runners and clap them around the pitch, feel free to turn up from 10.30am on Sunday 15th September at Twerton Park. More importantly you can make a donation here https://www.justgiving.com/page/run-the-cities or via the QR code below.

Your donation will help fund vital research, support services, and campaigns that will help save lives.
