Latrell joined City in July 2024 from Oxford City. He came up through the youth ranks at Oxford, making the first team squad during the 2022/23 season after a loan spell with North Leigh. The former England U16 midfielder was soon playing a key part in Oxford’s run to the National League South play-off final and he then set up their fourth goal in the win over St Albans City to secure promotion to the National League. A series of impressive displays at the higher level saw him named Oxford’s young player of the year for a second successive season but he turned down a new contact with the Hoops, having made 45 appearances and scored four goals, to join the Romans.
