Squad Builder passes £19K & Oct Winners
As we share news of this month’s lucky winners in the Bath City Squad Builder draw, we’re also delighted to announce that the initiative has now raised over £19,000 to help the Romans’ push for success.
The Bath City Squad Builder fund helps top up the Romans’ playing budget and get the best possible team out on the pitch. And to show the Club’s true appreciation, every fan, group and business that contributes to the fund is entered into the monthly prize draw.
In the October draw, supporter Bill Wilkinson plus 3 lucky friends struck gold and are set to light-up a matchday Cross Bar Challenge, while 3 other fans also won prizes.
The October Bath City Squad Builder prize winners are:
1st Prize – Matchday Cross Bar Challenge with 3 Friends – Bill Wilkinson
Look out for Bill and his friends on the pitch at Twerton Park during an upcoming match. Bill says, “I contributed to the squad builder because I know how Jerry will need flexibility and depth in his squad over the course of a season for a promotion push.”
2nd Prize – Signed ball – Ben Reed
Long-time Romans supporter Ben comments, “It feels like something special is happening this season – crowds are up; we have some exciting new players; and the football is good to watch! The enthusiasm of all the volunteers around Twerton Park is so infectious and I’m happy to be able to make a small contribution to moving the club forward.”
3rd Prize – Hospitality & Match tickets for 2 – Simon Elias
Simon, who will enjoy his prize at the Aveley game on Saturday, tells us, “My Dad took me to my first City game against Wimbledon in the seventies and they got to the FA Cup final years later, so helping a little with the Squad Builder you never know what is possible!”
4th Prize – Match tickets for 4 – Godfrey Kyte
Congrats to Godfrey, who will bring his 3 guests to Twerton Park to enjoy an upcoming match.
