Goater on target again in Frome win

Libby Goater’s second goal in as many games was enough to see Bath City Women beat Frome Town Women 1-0 this afternoon at Twerton Park. She netted from 12 yards on 56 minutes to decide a closely fought encounter between the two sides and make it four games unbeaten for Matt Abreu’s side.

Bath City Women Development moved up to second following a resounding 9-0 win over Sporting Weston Vix. A first half hat-trick by Jasmine Rennie set the Romans up for a third straight comfortable success. She added a fourth after the break with Tish Davis, Elissa Blake, Ali Diegutis and a late double from Salma Es-Slami Jimenez rounding off a one-sided encounter at Peasedown Rec.
