Staff News – Dean Gerken

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dean Gerken as our new goalkeeping coach.

Having left Colchester United at the end of the 2021/22 season, Dean joined the coaching staff at Bristol City, one of his former clubs, as academy goalkeeping coach in August 2022.

Jerry commented: “We are delighted to have Dean as part of our staff. He not only brings his knowledge as a GK coach but also his experience of playing top flight EFL games which he can share with Ollie and also amongst us as a staff on a wider team perspective. He has the right character and professionalism that has already been seen to have an impact on the players and staff at Bath City FC. Again, we would like to thank Brian Tinnion and Bristol City FC for their support so Dean is able to combine both roles.”
