Top trio back for Bath City Women

Following a successful Recruitment Day last weekend and with pre-season training now underway we are pleased to announce the first three signings for Bath City Women’s upcoming 2023/24 campaign.

Captain Tara Taylor, 22/23 Golden Boot winner Annie Hervey and Tanea Wright have all agreed to remain at Twerton Park for a second season.

Manager Matt Abreu said of the three players:

“Tara showed great leadership on and off the pitch in our battle for promotion last season. She leads by example, gives 100% every match and plays with a smile on her face. I couldn’t ask for a better captain to lead us into this season.”

“Annie was top scorer in 22/23 and a vital cog in our senior leadership group. She was my Player of the Season for the passion, dedication and commitment shown throughout the campaign. I know she’ll continue to score goals and give her all.”

“Tanea improved massively over the course of last season and has developed into an exciting team player. I feel like she’s heading for a breakout season and is really one to watch.”
