New roles for the New Year
As we enter 2023, we’re pleased to announce a mini shake-up of how we run your club.
After six years as General Manager in which she’s been pivotal to the transition to community ownership, the huge growth in our attendances, development of our tenancies and enhancement of the matchday experience, Carole Banwell is taking on a new role at Bath City and cutting back from full-time working. As Partnerships Manager Carole will be focussing on continuing to deliver fantastic service to our Twerton Park tenants and business room hire clients, as well as working with the Commercial Team to look after our sponsors to deliver them great value and the club maximum revenue.
As Carole steps away from some of the operational tasks of General Manager, director Jane Jones will take on the new position of Interim Head of Stadium until the end of the season. The role will see Jane take an overview role of matchday delivery as well as ensuring the general comfort and safety of spectators, tenants and everyone who uses the club. Having introduced the new Bath City Women’s team this season Jane has already made a huge impact at the club and demonstrated her ability to deliver, and she will take this chance to look at ways to further enhance our services.
We are pleased that this new structure allows Carole to ease back a little, as she wished, and focus her efforts on looking after our commercial and community partners, while Jane brings proven expertise to support Donna Swaby and Shane Morgan and their teams in delivering a safe and enjoyable experience for all at Twerton Park as well as finding ways to increase matchday revenue. In these financially challenging times, we’re happy to confirm that there will be an overall financial saving with this new structure while offering what we anticipate will be even more valuable outcomes for your club.
