Debutant Robinson leads City to away win
New signing Summer-Lily Robinson had a dream debut for Bath City Women this afternoon, scoring the opening goal and setting up the second in a 2-1 win over Bishop’s Lydeard Ladies Reserves. She struck on 39 minutes when her lofted effort beat keeper Waygood. The lead lasted just four minutes though as Lovell side-footed home from eight yards after City only half-cleared a free-kick. Emily Bristow saw a shot hit the outside of the post shortly after the break and Annie Hervey had a 55th minute shot blocked on the line. However, from the resultant corner Robinson’s delivery was turned into her own net Erdos under pressure from Esme Fensome. You can read a full report here and view pictures of the game here.
