Player News – Donovan Wilson loan move to Sutton United

With no further matches to be played in the National League South in 2020/21, we have agreed to loan Donovan Wilson to Sutton United of the National League for the remainder of the season.   

Manager Jerry Gill commented on the loan move:  

“This loan move for Donovan is a wonderful opportunity for him to go and play games for a club that is not only challenging for promotion to the EFL but at a club and with a manager that fits well in terms of style of play and philosophy, which is important for both us and Donovan. I will be attending as many of his games as I can, so I can continue to monitor Donovan’s performances.  

A big thank you goes to Matt Gray (Sutton United Manager) in how professional he has been throughout the negotiation of this loan deal. Again, it is another example of a Bath City player in good form being recognised and attracting interest from clubs at a higher level.
