National League Statement
A statement from The National League Board
Following the review of the feedback from Clubs in connection to the recent Clubs meeting, a Board meeting this morning decided to halt the participation in the North/South Divisions for a two-week period, effective immediately.
As a result, tomorrow’s games are formally postponed.
Bath City FC Football Chairman, Paul Williams, responded:
“On behalf of the Club Board we welcome this timely decision by the National League Board that reflects the desire of the clubs to avoid playing matches without proper funding in place. We will now take the opportunity to work with our MP Wera Hobhouse to lobby for grant funding rather than loans to enable our season to proceed.”
