There’s a huge Family Day fixture at Twerton Park on Saturday! It’s fifth versus fourth as the Romans take on Weymouth in a Vanarama National League South clash. Kick off – 3pm!
With just nine games to go we start to enter the business end of the season and Jerry Gill’s men will looking to pick up some vital points against play-off rivals Weymouth.
The Terras have enjoyed their return to the National League South after their promotion from the Southern League last season. The Dorset club have found themselves at home in the higher division; spending most of the campaign in the play-off spots with Abdulai Baggie leading the club’s scoring charts with ten goals. Weymouth will go into this weekend’s fixture high in confidence after a comprehensive 5-1 win over a play-off chasing Maidstone.
Despite a 2-0 away defeat to Braintree Town last weekend, the Romans remain firmly in the play-offs and will be aiming to put on a show in front of a large crowd at Twerton!
There have been some scintillating matches at home this season and it’s likely to be another on Family Day so bring family and friends and get behind the City!!
