City v Forest Green Rovers Match Preview

After earning a well-deserved draw against League 2 Newport County last Friday, City square up against another team from the same division this weekend. The Romans take on Gloucestershire neighbours, Forest Green Rovers, in one of the last pre-season friendlies before league action kicks off in August. The “world’s greenest football club” have recently made news with their kit being made from bamboo fibres, but they’ve been catching attention on the pitch as well with a run to the League 2 play-offs last season.

With just one week to go before the big kick-off against Braintree Town, do come along and see how the squad has bedded in and how they measure up against league opposition.
