Civic Reception for Bath City FC Volunteers

The Mayor of Bath, the Right Worshipful the Mayor of Bath Councillor Patrick Anketell-Jones and the Mayoress very kindly invited Bath City FC volunteers to a civic reception in the Mayor’s Parlour at the Guildhall on Tuesday of this week. He thanked our volunteers for all their dedication and spoke about the importance of the club to the city and community. After light refreshments his PA gave a fascinating short talk about the history of the Mayoralty and some of the treasures in the room and even took us into the Council Chamber. A real privilege to be invited into the areas of the Guildhall not usually open to the public and to receive appreciation from the Mayor in the last weeks of his period of office.
